Born from the idea and the painstaking work of research of Olga Urbani, the Museum of the Truffle Urbani is located in Scheggino.

Named in memory of Paolo Urbani following his disappearance two years earlier and opened to the public in March 2012, it’s not the classic single-themed museum but a real museum to "live". In fact, the museum gives visitors the chance to enter to the world of truffles and, at the same time, in the memory of the family Urbani.

The choice of the local places was not random, the museum is located in what was the first factory Urbani, that Paolo Urbani founded by the late nineteenth century in his own home.
